A new diecast modell by REVELL (1:18 scale)

REVELL has just released a new die-cast model of our favorite car 1:18 scale. Its a blue one, open top version. I haven't seen no other colour nor hard top version. I've just received mine, its superb : great paint, good level of detail. The bonnet can be opened and so on...

The Revell one seems to be LH drive. Jadi versions in Red and white are out very soon. I have already seen a white one for sale on eBay. These are RH drive and, apparently, use the same castings.

I see the yellow 1/43 Stag models are appearing on eBay as well. These must be the preproduction versions of the yellow Corgi Vanguard models due out later this year.

There is another white Jadi Stag and a red one on eBay at the moment, both in Australia.

Yes DJT, I forgot to mention this point : it is actually a LH drive as Revell is a German company. As I'mFrench its OK for me, my 'real' Stag is also a LHD!

NB : the Stag is one on the very few Triumph to cost less in Francethan in UK. Others Triumph are cheaper in UK : TR2/3/4... Spitfire, etc. That's why, even if I go sometimes in UK, I do not baught my Stag in your country, as I was afraid by the price ! There were some Stag for sale at the last Triumph show in Stoneleigh in February : I've seen very beautiful cars, but much to expensive !

But it is difficult to found Stag in France because they are not kown at all : only 245 Stag were sold in France, how many are still alive here ? It takes me two years to found mine...

I hate to be picky but as the model is a left hand drive the wipers should be reversed, ie. the wheel boxes moved across and the wiper arms arc in the opposite direction. That at least is what they did for the US spec.
