I was just thinking it would be nice to have a reliable replacement fuel pump for the Stag. As far as I know there is nothing on the market that bolts straight in without messing around with unions and brackets. I think a Holley or Facet, possibly with pressure regulator if required. Would anyone be interested in a kit if there was one?

One of my friends had one fitted and then we had to rubber mount it, and although still not as silent as the original, I would at least prefer it to a breakdown.

I can see where your coming from, but considering the age of the cars now, and also the age of the pumps, that in my opinion is the problem, when I think how old my car is I have only replaced the pump once, and it was the cut off switch that was at fault and not the pump.
But I mush admit I do carry a spare.
