    Suspension and Exhaust project

    Its been a long haul but should be MOTing it on Saturday and then giving it a dame good spanking

          They look the business Steve, but polishing inside the tailpipes is a bit 'anal' you know . You will be entering into 'concours' next

            Looks greatJust noticed your registration plate. Our GT6 is ABW 392MDoes that mean they were registered at the same dealer?

              Hi Steve,

              Might be worth finding out if your car will pass the MOT with those plates on, as I think you might have to put your old ones on for the day.

              As I think the cut off date for the black & white ones is 1972/73

              Good Luck and the car looks fabwell done.

                  The plate was stuck on with tape just to see how it would look ,i'll be fitting them after the MOT.

                      No MOT or Tax,i take it i'm ok to drive down to the MOT station with no tax if its pre booked?

                            They do sound quite a bit louder and the 4 pipes seem to resonate together nicely

                            Could be because i've gone from mild to stainless as well as chopping the standard system about.

                              You are Ok to do this - see extract from Direct.gov

                              Driving an untaxed vehicle to an MOT test
                              You can drive your vehicle to and from a pre-arranged test at an MOT test station provided you have adequate insurance cover in place for the use of that vehicle.

                              BTW exhausts look awesome... any photos of the underneath??
