The SOC Club & Forum is the best!

    Hi All

Just wanted to say a public thank you to Ian F who kindly picked up my suspension parts I needed (URGENTLY) this morning whilst he was at Paddocks.

This would note have been possible without the ace communication between the SOC Forum and just goes to show what a brilliant idea the Forum is and how it works to it's best.

Thanks Ian the car would still be on 4 axle stands come Wednesday if it wasn't for your help.

Now the car will be sitting back on it's wheels by tomorrow night! (Hopefully!)

    Stuart

    Hi Stuart

Thats great that Ian was able to help you out. Now if i could only get someone to do the same for me. Only joking asI do have freinds and relatives that have brought me stuff for my previous restorations. Austin Atlantic,Austin A105,Triumph Stag and now my second Stag

Hi Dave, I note from your profile that you are only 1 year younger than I am and you say that maybe you'll retire when your 68? Bit late isn't it - I retired 15 years ago when I bought myself a Stag as a Retirement present.

I suposeI should be well retired by now but I still enjoy work and they keep asking me to take on "just one more project" . I'm at the stage now were if I find I've had enough I will give them 3 months notice and do what your doing

I was supposed to be in Port Alberni BC at the moment but a family death cattled that one.

Will hopefully be coming over later in the year if that's any use - I know it's a fair distance from you, but getting the bits across the water and past Canadian Customs must be the worst part.......

I would like to agree with Stuart 100 per cent, this forum works very well. I am biased because Stuart has just helped me out of a hole for which i am most grateful.
