    Drag strut bushes

    Hello fellow stagers,

My drag strut bushes are past their best,I have researched but cannot decide on what to replace existing with rubber or poly, can people please give me their advice and opinions.

Am I right in saying that the poly replacements could give a harsh/hard feel?.

    Thanks in Advance,

    Mark

    Hi Mark

Just done this job I went for poly on the control arm and rubber on the drag strut works perfectly.

      Hi Mark

In this situation rubber is the preferred material. Talk to Peter at LD Parts or lookon his website... he reckons bodyshell to suspension situations are better in rubber.

I did the same - used rubber on the anti roll bar but I will be changing them for poly pretty soon - after 600 miles/5 months they are already starting to perish!

Will stick with rubber for drag link though - do not like the idea of the arm breaking.
