Drive it day - anybody doing anything special?

As Sunday 26th April is 'Drive it day' I was wondering if anybody is doing anything special?

    http://www.fbhvc.co.uk/events/drive-it-day-09.htm

I try to make every day 'drive it day'

Unless I hear of anything else I will probably go and visit Brooklands museum, I've just joined the club there so I can park onsite.

Has anybody else got anything special planned ???

How about a forum trip out?

      Nick,

you know you can't do that.... you will be violating your ASBO!

Old Yella is doing well, woke the neighbours up this morning going into work for an early shift

Anytime you are over this way you are more than welcome to take her for a spin, as long as you bring her back!!!

Joining up with the Manchester Standard gang for a drive from Cheshire to Manchester Transport Museum. Should be a few Stags coming along if everyone's remembered.

Thats very kind...i will book the ferry! a drive may result in an expenditure so probably best not. think mortgage reduction the better option for a year or so. xk8s look good at the mo though, something i can enjoy and drive to work. my xj6 still going strong though, just ben to Brittany and back this week, quite as a mouse and going well.
glad you still like the exhaust, i am sure its better than ians, probably cos its manual.

For the Herts and Beds Stags, Uncle Pete (he's the organise for TSSC / Club Triumph) is doing the following. Always a good day out with our fellow family members, so do try and make it...

                    Read below,

HELLO AGAIN, We have a cunning plan to have a jaunt out to the Vauxhall Heritage Centre on Sunday 26th APRIL in Park st Luton LINK http://wiki.gmnext.com/wiki/index.ph...eritage_Centre the plan is to meet up in the Gipsy Lane retail Park 10 for 10.30 am Sunday Morning and drive in a convoy round the corner to the heritage centre which opens at 10.30am and this is FREE ADMISSION this way we make a good Triumph Impact rather than be dotted around the parking. We plan to leave for a national drive of around 30miles to a country Pub this route will be left as a surprise or even a mystery tour (well a mystery to me) but after careful consideration to road humps and low exhausts will prove to be the usual high quality Ahemm . there will be a photo shoot outside (well a bit distant) Woburn Abbey this will have a charge of £2.50 per person to get into the deer park ( its quite safe as I can put Jill out first as a decoy !! if you are feeling a bit skint you can detouraround this short leg and meet up a mile down theroad at the Pub LINK http://www.greenmaneversholt.com/ I can only guess that we leave the Centre around 12 and tear around in circles via toilets Petrol stations and arrive at Pub about 2pm ish if you would like to book a meal please contact Louise at the pub 01525 288111 if you are just dying of thirst then just prop up the bar,, there is a good outside patio if the suns out ( of course it will ) the Pub has a fair carpark but it could be busy on a Sunday but we should be OK this should prove to be a good day out and be economical with the ££££'s If you are going to join in please let me know it helps to have a clue about convoying arrangements 6 cars is easy 20 gets interesting and 30..never tried but we have got the 3ft range walkie talkies to test Hope you find this OK regards Peter:MAP LINK: View Larger Map Maps

                    Should be good.....

You could have done this today Adrian, we had a nice run down to Gaydon for the SOCTFL AGM complete with free museum entry and a free lunch, the sun even came out for the run home.
