There have been other people doing their own similar systems before but in response to a couple of requests for photos of my particular PCV setup, I have written up the details in a seperate pdf file here for interest.

Cheers,
I went for large connections to allow for room for the PCV valve and grommet and for a lot of room so that the flow rate of the vapours is reduced allowing any oil mist to condense and flow back down. I had quite bad oil blowing into the air filter with the original side pipe and straight connection to air filter, that I tried to make as many stages of oil trapping as possible. It may not all be necessary but the basic principle of PCV and a vent on each cover seems to be a common setup on a few 'V' engines I've seen, so I guess that is a good indication.

yes n/s cam cover contains pcv valve which runs to oil catch tank
from there it runs to pcv connection on holley
the original o/s cam cover vent then runs to undernath air cleaner base
which incedantly at service intervals has no oil mist or spray inside, which shows that system works all ok
