I've tightened my rocker covers and there are no leaks whatsoever around the edges. When the engine revs are high, however, I'm getting oil leaking past the screw heads and eventually dripping down to the exhaust manifolds. Any ideas for sealing these leaks?

No, I haven't done anything apart from tightening the screws. Actually I'm just about to go and lift the rocker covers off this afternoon and have a look to see what's going on. Would I get the necessary washers at Halfords or somewhere similar?

They are specials - however you might be able to use some chunky O rings as a temp measure.....

In the past I have used suitably sized bulkhead grommets and cut them down the middle to make two washers. They lasted for years, so will certainly tide you over until you get the correct items. You would need 4 and these are readily available,

Yep, done it! Thanks for this.
Now I have to work out why I'm fouling up one plug and running like an old donkey! Think I must have a dodgy plug lead or something? It was fine and has suddenly gone off, so can't be anything too serious.
