Hello, could anyone suggest where I can get an authentic passenger mirror - I've ordered a so-called Stag one which is nothing like, it offers no visibility at all (too short, no angle on the arm). I'm too short to reverse without one!

MB323 is the correct one I believe
Sorry old boy - just re-read and I've pointed you to a door mirror - but you should find what you want in exterior mirrors - these guys made them originally...

Hello barnsleyoilburnerand welcome. There have been other postings here about passenger door mirrors. I have just fitted one and had to place it almost two inches further back than the drivers mirror to get sight past the window frame. I'm 6' and sit far back so I don't know how shorter drivers, sitting further forward would fare. Peter at LD parts sells a little washer thing which allows for greater adjustment of the mirror on the stem, that might help.
If you can't get a mirror you are happy with you might have to consider a clamp on type. I'm old enought to remember that many of us had them in the 60s, before even the driver'sside mirror became standard. http://www.classic-car-accessories.c...XTERIOR_8.html

Resurrecting this post because it's probably closest to my question.
Anyone have any idea how (if you even can) adjust the angle of my drivers wing mirror? I'm 6ft3 and get a great view of the back wheels...
Fine with the roof down because I can just look over my shoulder but I'm a bit worried about having the roof up on the motorway because it's a huge blind spot

I am over 6ft and have no problems with the door mirrors. It depends a lot on where they were positioned, either by the dealer or during subsequent restoration. There is a fair amount of adjustment on the heads. Loosen the locknut and swivel.
LD parts sell a plastic insert which fits behind the mirror case to increase articulation. He also sells convex glass for the Tex mirror head, which increases field of view.

SOC Spares sell an angled gasket to go beneath the mirror stem base which also improves the angle of view.
