    Hi Dave

Are you not well? Nice car but it's a Ford and definitely not as pretty as the Stag!:?

Go and lay down for a while and you will feel better.

Know what you mean Stu. But the Zodiac convertible came from an era when Ford produced cars with character. And I reckon if this was parked up close to an equivalentcondition Stag (Big J's) the crowd would be split equally.

            Dave.

I have a lot of regard for the Mk 2 Fords as my 1st car was a Consul saloon (not new) and a neighbour had a maroon and grey Zodiac convertible, power hood and automatic. Very smart car.

I Had a series 2 1600E in blue mink, nice motor and would like another. Also had a Mk11 Capri which are a bit of a rarity these days as everyone seems to favour the Mk 1.

My Wife owns a 59 Hillman Minx which attracts as much attention as the Stag and is a car that you feel you could drive anywhere. The build quality is also excellent compared to something like an Anglia of that era.

Just looked at the pics of the Zodiac on the Cherrished web site, wow that is nice, darent show the Wife as she will want me to trade the Stag for it. 2.8 Capri looks nice as well.

                          Hi John

I learnt to drive in a MK1 1500 Super which my Grandad left me, I was 10 so i drove it around the field. Sadly my dad went bankrupt so it had to go.

My father had one of those, he only had it a month if think we had the breakdown truck at the house everyday he had it. The first time I ever heard him loose his temper was when the garage asked him how to spell his name. He shouted each letter very loudly down the phone S.M.I.T.H:shock:

I think we had a mk2 Cortina estate next
