The people who have rebuilt my Stag also want to rebuild the diff rather than buy in a reconditioned one. They have asked me if I can lay my hands on a spreader. Can any of you knowledgeable guys help?

Hi,
Its not essential to have a casing spreader for overhauling the diff. However you will need a pinion setting tool or spend a good few hours with engineering blue.
In my own experience there are very few people who can set up a stag diff so that it is quiet. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know
