I saw the first episode of this classic car series last week . No Stags featured yet but definitely worth a look. Has anyone else seen it ? It's about time we had a classic car programme on TV isn't it?
Yes I saw it, I thought it was quite good, even the bit about the Allegro - not so keen on the Yank cars though, would have preferred some more on english/european affordable classics.
I've set the PVR to record this weeks nontheless, agree with you that it's a change to see a reasonable attempt at a program about classics, rather than filling them with water or trying to make them float on TG
I dunno, I fell asleep only to see some airhead presenter doing a grinding job on a Mustang gearbox (please do not get excited chaps, no double entendre inferred). At that point I turned it off.
It was supposed to be about 'Bond' cars - Astons. No spanners, or sensible comments at all. You could learn more about Classic cars by watching Minder or The Professionals
I agree Al. I got quite excited about the prospect of a decent program for a change. Its a shame it was so dry and boring. Why did they spend so much time and money going all the way out to Switzerland? They told you next to nothing about anything really. I'll give it another shot next week but I'm not hopeful.
At least I watched a recording so I could fast forward through the ads.
Still thanks for highlighting it to us Vmad - it could have been good.
Now Stagless but have numerous car projects
So many cars, so little time!
