TV8 Burble

[singapore stag]

Hi All, I have a relatively good sound system in my Stag with all the trimmings ( base bin amps etc ), but, each time I get into the Stag I never switch it on I have to listen to the engine,Whats with this Burble, I love it, am I the only one?, am I losing it?.Does it go hand in hand with Stag paranoia and is it called Stag pychosis?

Nope, you're not alone, I love it, especially next to a wall or though a tunnel, maybe I'm sad or madI dunno but it does sound good. Pity I haven't got the 300 bhp it sounds like it has! Modern cars are so quiet, even the RS5 V8, sounds great but really quiet, not like the Stag at all.

You are deffo not alone...

Got back today after 6weeks working in Norway..went in the garage connected the battery, turned her over with coil disconnected to get the oil pressure up.

Connected the coil and bingo she started first time....O that sound...took her for a run....bliss......

Tomorrow of to the angel islington for a soul all dayer to listen to another great sound.......Soul Music.....

Me too

I keep thinking about changing my original am radio but I know I will never listen to the music.

I even find myself driving out of mywaythrough a local town which has a narrow road with buildings either side just to hear that sound reverberate. Mrs L thinks I am sick butI guess it is a bloke thing.

I think it is normal behaviour for a stag owner

I spent about a week trying to sort a new radio that fitted amp power supply and speakers. My conclusion is……….. It’s utterly pointless, it’s never on and when it is on, it spoils the drive/sound of the lovely V8. (When it’s working).

i agree its great noise.i took mine to a friends wedding yesterday and half the guests came up to say what a lovely noise it made.

Do you remember how fighters used to have lines of little swastikas on them, recording the number of kills?

In the last 12 months I have had 5 BMW drivers come up to me and say something like "I wish my car sounded like that!".

Perhaps we ought to get little BMW stickers as a record,and apply them along the edges of the front wings?

A Ferrari drove past my flat this morning. I caught myself thinking "That doesn't sound as good as mine" :shock:.
