    Show me your bumps!

Ok maybe not as interesting as you may have first thought!

But I am making good progress (at last!) on the supercharger front ( After a pep talk from Grahamb's son michael!) and this is the state of play.....

Crank Pulley and waterpump pulleybeing machined up (They need to be 8 rib poly belt profile machined to fit fit rover, Supercharger mount "mocked up" and awaiting pulleys so everything can be lined up before the mounts are machined up in 10mm alli plate.

Parts have arrived from the "states" to complete and one of the parts has caused a bit of long face...............The carb bonnet, it's basically a funnel to connect the charger to the carb. Well it's a bit high at the moment....about 2" too high......So my bonnet wont close!!!!!! So it looks like I might have to go for a bulge! (obligatory "Ooh Matron!")

So just for the ROVER V8 owners would you mind showing me your bumps so I can get an idea of what it would like?

I can't find a pic of it, but the 4WD Stags had a subtle bulge in the bonnet.

          Regards

Apparently they had to lift the engine a bit to fit the 4wd system underneath, hence the bulge. I bet a tuned one of those would shift a bit.
