    hazzards for MOT

    Hi Guys / Girls?

Just getting ready for MOT and when checked hazzards they are not working but can hear relay at parcel shelf working. When look closely at bulbs sure they are slightly comming on.

Any suggestions for things to try this weekend (to get hazzards working not other activities!!)

    BTW Indicators work fine

    Thanks

Short the 2 wires on the hazard relay together and pull the switch - if all the lamps come on properly then change the relay - make sure you get the right relay too!

        Paul,

In my experience (based on several Dolomites and a Stag) the hazard warning light switch is usually the culprit as the contacts on the back get dirty through (hopefully) lack of use. I usually switch it on and off (where have I heard that before... ah yes, computers) several times and they start working. The other culprit is the bulb inside the switch. Sometimes it fails to make a decent contact.

        Good Luck!

        Chris
