Fantastic service

[V8 Rumbler]

Yesterday lunchtime I decided I needed a PLATE TONNEAU LOCK (cuz I haven't got one) and a bonnet release cable bracket ( to fit a 2nd cable)
I e-mailed Les Clark
He popped both in the post yesterday afternoon and they arrived this morning..
£5.00 inc postage for the two
Both have been wire brushed and painted ready for fitting tomorrow

I bought a diff off him which he said was good(no whines or clonks)spent all day fitting it,fitted new seal,new oil.It whines F****** terrible.He refunded my money but not my postage or labour.He didnt want the diff back,he said I should weigh it in at the scrapyard,funny how he should say that after telling me how goodthe diff was.

Les has done me some good stuff and some not so good.

One mans 'mint' is anothers 'scruffy'

But you wont be getting new/remade stuff that doesnt fit!

I wasnt worried about it looking scruffy,I was assured it didnt whine,which it did which annoyed me.I wish he would have come clean in the first place rather than fob me off with that old b*****ks about being good

Old diffs of an unknown quantity are scrap as far as im concerned because of the time taken to put them on and take them off.
