    diff advice

I have been living with a difff problem for a number of years and I have decided to do something about it, sodo I buy a recon diff, a recon CWP. I understand that they are 2500 and therefore require excessive shimming which is all but beyond most people ( including those who recon them) or break the bank and get a bmw conversion?

    Help!!!
Standard stag thrashed and enjoyed, Nissan Murano ( very underrated, very thirsty, very fast)

I suggest you talk to these guys. http://www.hardyengineering.co.uk/

Very helpful and provided a new CWP in my diff. Full recon of my unit was about £475 inclusive of VAT.

I'll re-inforce Graham's comments, I had a similar problem - a very leaky, very noisy diff. Removed it took it to Hardys and they fitted a new 3.45 TR6 diff into my casing as they dis-trusted the new CWP's that they can get for the Stag.

Slightly cheaper than Graham's but all went back and much better including more relaxed cruising - revs and less noise! Give them a call.

Trouble with Fleabay is you never know what you'll get - it could be worse than your own?
