BW35 Inhibitor Switch Advice

Hi All

Just a quick Q ...

My Inhibitor is giving up ... I need to source a new one - I've been advised not to repair the old one but just to replace.

Anyone got any suggestions of where to get one?

Good advice Sukh, one from a Stag specialist will be twice the price for exactly the same part.:shock:

While you're under it, worth looking at the wiring to the switch, tracing it back you'll come to a connector block (think mine was in engine compt), and identifying the wires which connect to inhibitor, (not reversing lights).Removing connector and shorting the pins will allow the starter to work - a get you home trick as can't bump start it! In fact my 65's been hot wired like this for a while as can't remove broken switch. Have to be very careful not to start in drive......

I bought a new one at the national day last year, then saw one approx half the price at a Jag supplier.:X
