Chroming and stainless steel exhaust

Hello.

Can anyone recommend a good chroming firm, preferably near the south coast, asthe one i used years ago has gone.

Also has anyone with a rover engine in their stag fitted a completestainless steel exhaust. If so where did you buy it ? Also is there any problems with the heat or have you had to rap them to stop some of the heat in the engine bay.

Hi,
Have a Rover 3.9 which has stainless steel tubular manifolds and link pipes down to mixer boxes. The manifolds are not lagged but the link pipes down to mixers are. Under bonnet temperatures are fine and and have only two speed Kenlow fan as a primary. All items are available from Monarch.

Hi,

I will soon be removing the Rover engine from my Stag and will probably be putting the parts up for sale, I'm sure the full exhaust system is stainless, the engine has a nice Edelbrock Weberon it. I'm only across the solent in Emsworth if you are interested.

I know some members have wrapped the front exhaust end and manifolds and I am sure there are some posts on the subject so hit the search button.
