Inspired by various threads on this forum I have today...
1. Painted the front grill.
Looks good, Kevin. Following the recent thread about which way up the grille should go I looked closely at mine whilst it was out for fitting the Kenlowe and found all 5 pieces were upside down. Luckily mine didn't need painting. Just a good clean and the badges (Stag, SOC and RNLI) flipped over prior to replacing.
Tip I picked up years ago for the grille. Cut enough 1/2" squares from an empty butter tub for each of the grille screws. Pierce a hole in the centre of each, fit the screws into their holes and screw into the squares. This holds them neatly in place whilst you offer up the grille sections and line up the screws.
