PAS Pump

Hi All

Checked the fluid levels yesterday before using the car and found that the PAS Pump was empty!

The last trip was to Prescott and back around 250 miles, I top it up and did 20 miles tonight fluid level still fine after journey:?

I checked for leaks on the pump and steering rack but nothing!

Where could the fliud have gone?

done any work on it recently? It may have bled out the air? - just a thought

Months ago I took it off to paint it but have done about 1500 miles since then!

Must admit the cornering was pretty heavy and fast lock to lock at Prescott!

Stuart,

Have you checked the steering rack boots. Squeeze them, do they feel full of fluid? They should be dry, but if the seals have gone your fluid could be there.

First palce I looked and they are dry and no fliud in them!:?

It's those bloody miniature aliens again, the ones that got into Krytens garage, I reckon they oil their hyperdrive with it ! Martin.
