I have spent the weekend getting my car running again after a long layup. There is a whole other thread regarding the initial problems with that. However I now have a new problem.
The right hand carbs mixture screw has seized solid despite living in a bath of oil. My attempts to remove it failed so I think I will have to replace the air valve. If I remember correctly these are made to fit each other so if the air valve is replaced the cover must be also. Can anyone confirm if thats correct and indeed if its possible to replace just the piston and cover or should I replace the whole carb?
