    Symonds Yatt

    Hi All

Decided not to go to Tatton Park today (did 300 mile yesterday!)and took RogerP up on the offer of meeting for lunch at Symonds Yatt (posted on Website topic).

We drove down for 12pm at the Wye Knot Inn and had a nice meal and chat to Roger,Leslie,Bill & Cath then I was asked to be lead car for a tour round the Forest Of Dean!

Finished up at the Heritage Center for a drink and chat about Stag's.

Great Day out on the spur of the moment which was only possible due to the Forum!

We put a post on the Forum this morning to say we were going for a drive so it was really good that Stuart and his family arrived at the pub to join Bill and Kath and ourselves. We had a fabulous day andbenefitted from Stuart's knowledge of the area as he led us around the Forestof Dean. Just what the cars are built for; rolling countryside and sun all day!

Good to meet you and the family Stuart.

Couldn't agree more. Judging by the picture above, the glow from Stuart's car is spreading to Bill's

I am really disappointed at missing the good weather you are all enjoying, due to being offshore. Due home on Wednesday, so don't use up all the sunshine, please!!
