    2500S Diff

Hi, Just a quicky, a friend of mine has 3 x 2500s Triumphs one of them is a donor car he says I can have the diff from it (2500S auto "p" reg). Will this diff be strong enough for the Stag. There are no leaks on it and no whining.

    Cheers ...Sukh.

    Hi Sukh

I am about to fit a 3.45:1 Diff to my stag from a 2500S Estate which is plenty strong enough for the Stag.

Look at the colours on the nuts holding the output flanges (side ones which go to the halfshafts)red is 3.45:1Blue is LSD diff (very rare) Yellow 3.7:1 same as Stag and White is 4.11:1 way to low for the Stag.

I think the diff in mine is from a 2500S Estate. It is standing up to the punishment I give mine :P.

      Regards
