Oil Pressure & Water Temp Dual Guage Kit

I've just received one of these from Rimmer Brothers today and was expecting some kind of fitting instructions, but alas it just shows me how to attach the brass fittings to the nylon pressure pipe. Excuse my ignorance but I've not got a clue how to fit one of these. Having had a quick look at it I'm assuming the temperature guage will replace the current sender unit but where does the nylon pipe for theoil pressure guage connect to on the engine?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Barry,

I haven't done one of these on a Stag but on a previous leyland car. The oil pressure switch should be removed and an adaptor T piece is inserted into the block to which the pressure pipe is fixed and the pressure switch replaced into the other spare end of the T piece.

If I'm wrong not doubt someone will jump in.

I have no T-piece but have just ordered one from Rimmers following your reply. I found another thread in the forum about fitting an oil pressure guage and it sounds like it may be a bit of a job to get at it. I will have a look later when I get home.
