    T Bar bolt trim

Out of interest, looking at the Stag on page 137 of the Rimmers latest catalogue, there is a neat small plate that someone has made that sits under the T bar bolt. This can be an untidy area with the trim being damaged when the bolt is removed and I was wondering if these were ever sold of anyone on the forum has made them for themselves.

They look neat and in keeping

    Cheers

      Hi Andrew

I could do with a couple of those but they are difficult for diy without special equipment but would be interested in buying a pair

          Hi Julian

They look original except the metal material is longer and sandwiches more of the material around the the bolt area and as there is more overlap, it makes a neater job. Not original but.......

Can anyone fabricate them? Would be nice in stainless steel provided no-one goes heavy and makes them too big. They need to be shiny and subtle in size

          Cheers

Hi Stuart looks like you could have a full time job if the prototypes turn out well looking foreward to seeing the results

                            Hi Stu

Remember that those plates are different between a Mark 1 and Mark 2 car. On Mark 1's they extend under the t bar.

                            Cheers

                            Bruce

P.S. I am also interested in a pair.
