That's no rant Russ, I agree with every word you say, I hope to God you don't think I'm moaning ! far from it, I've had quite a few answers from him, and I'm nothing but grateful. As you point out, running that column is a massive task, and no thinking person could possibly blame him for chucking in the towell. But what a loss to us all ! Pass the hat round, I'll contribute ! ifully agree with your coments russ and especialy those of phil your knowledge is much appreciated out here in cyberspace and helps us all russ so thanks. i have to remind myself sometimes to be polite when i get asked the same dumb questions at work about systems i install that others dont understand but want to,and i relate it to people like yourself who explain with great patience to all that ask including me.
