T bars

Hi All

I know that the Mark 2 T bar has a centrally mounted light, but are the metal sections of a Mark 1 and Mark 2 the same? In other words can a Mark 1 T bar be converted into a Mark 2 and vice a versa?

To answer my own question, the steelwork is different. The Mark 2 has an aperture for the lighting unit. Thanks to Martin at Justriumph for letting me look at both types at his premises this afternoon.
