It started last year when Stag battery started failing, bought a new one and the same happened a few weeks later. Intermittent or what, its plagued me the last few months and resorted to carrying the old battery in the auto boot. After yesterdays failure I stuck a meter on the battery and found 0.2a quiescent (:shock current, systematically removed fuses and traced it to fuse 1.......which covers the glove box light. Sure enough gently pushing lid in and current dropped, must have been right on the edge.Adjusted and hopefully resolved.

Worth checking if you have similar problems.
