Try Halfords or any motoring shop - any normal open ended spanner of the correct size does the job. Or is yours on so tight that you need an extra long one?

its so bloody tight its starting to round so methinks that square is the only way to go im sure they are 1/2 inch bsp and some bugger has used a big spanner or lever of some sort.will check halfrauds .
cheers steve.
Beautiful early mk1 white tv8 mod? MGB GT and now looking for another V8
I bought a magnetic plug from one of the suppliers recently. It has got a proper hex head on it. Much more convenient than the Square one!
I actually snapped a spanner on the square one. I think it is because it is slightly tapered and put an eccentric point load on the spanner. (They were cheap spanners though!).
