    Luck wished,

I did mine 6 months early last year just to get it in the winter rather than in the middle of the event season.

    Cheers Steve

      Hi Russ,

That makes two of you as Al is also booked in for Thursday, so I wish you both the best of luck, but in your case I should think its a forgone conclusion

All the best to both of you

      Steve

        Hi Russ

Mine sailed through last week, as our cars spent a day together recently hopefully some Topaz luck will rub off:shockoer

I'm sure you don't need luck Russ, you will be fine. Mine has gone straight through for the last three years and only failed on bottom ball joints before that so I don't particularly fear the MOT. I picked it up one year after asking the garage to bleed the brakes as I couldn't be arsed and they hardly worked, I nearly crashed it, only to find I hadn't tightened up the servo after starting to take it off (to paint it) then changing my mind, obviously not the most thorough of MOT's!

Good luck Russ, but if you need luck I need a miracle.

Interesting that you guys can MOT early to get to a better cycle of events. We can only do that by going SORN and going for a later MOT. Just not on with a mid season date. I'm up on 20th.

Blimey Russ, if you need luck with your experience there isn't much hope for the rest of us :?.

(My MOT is due in about a month). Only planned pre MOT work for me is to remove the split front strut gaiters!

Straight through with no advisories - tester even complimented the "sewing machine" 730rpm tickover at CO 2.74% and 147 PPM HCs.....and still using Strombergs.

Feeling quite chuffed (and very relieved)

Well done Russ, as if you every questioned it would fail

Good emmissions as well and as Steve Davis would say "an impressive 147"

You must be running out of jobs to do on the car now and now that its has passed, what are you going to do?

                              Sorry Russ!
