My Stag is due it's MOT on the 18th of next month, but in a rash burst of over-confidence I have booked it in for 11.30 tomorrow morning.........
Wish me luck guys.......
Russ:dude:
Hi Russ,
That makes two of you as Al is also booked in for Thursday, so I wish you both the best of luck, but in your case I should think its a forgone conclusion
I'm sure you don't need luck Russ, you will be fine. Mine has gone straight through for the last three years and only failed on bottom ball joints before that so I don't particularly fear the MOT. I picked it up one year after asking the garage to bleed the brakes as I couldn't be arsed and they hardly worked, I nearly crashed it, only to find I hadn't tightened up the servo after starting to take it off (to paint it) then changing my mind, obviously not the most thorough of MOT's!
Good luck Russ, but if you need luck I need a miracle.
Interesting that you guys can MOT early to get to a better cycle of events. We can only do that by going SORN and going for a later MOT. Just not on with a mid season date. I'm up on 20th.
Straight through with no advisories - tester even complimented the "sewing machine" 730rpm tickover at CO 2.74% and 147 PPM HCs.....and still using Strombergs.
