Oil Pressure Gauge

Hi all

I have just got my hands on an oil pressure gauge but I am not sure where on the engine to connect the tube.

Can anyone help ?

You will have an oil pressure sender unit plumbed into the lower RH side of the engine block, it sits on the oil transfer housing. This should be visible from above if you look down just in front of the brake servo. You need to remove the sender unit, insert an adaptor and connect the oil pressure guage pipe and oil sender to the adaptor.

Unless it's an automatic, then you need to drain the transmission and remove the trans dipstick tube, only two bolts but messy. Martin.

Can't agree on that............if you just undo the bolt on the transfer housing, you can get enough movement to do it. yeah it's a bit tight but better than draining it all down......well I think it is.
