I'm looking to fit a rad switch for my 2spd Kenlowe fan. I've had a boss put in the rad along with tubes for a header tank.
The currentKenlowe rad capillary turns the fan on when the capillary temp gauge reads 95, about right I reckon. I was about to buy a new 93/98 switch but wonderd if the rad is actually a lotlower than back of head temp.
I bought a couple of scrappie switches with 3 wires, one turned on around 70/80, too low I reckon, the other onlyhad one setting 90.A while later I pulled the connector off to find it only had 2 prongs inside:shock:
So whats do you reckon would be the ideal rad temperature to aim for, what temp are the top hose fan switches set to?
BTW - I did look at the top hose switch but apart from the price, I wanted to automate the 2 spd and wary of leaks - like the Kenlowe does.
Cheers
