    rear bumper heat

    Hi

Can anybody advise if they have a problem with rear bumper being tarnished by the heat from the exhaust and if so any ideas how to stop this (bumper is original not cheap thin after market one) Steve

Yes Steve, they do tend to get a bluey tarnish which can lead to wearing the bumper a bit thin, best to keep some wax on it and wipe off the tarnish rather than leave it there.

Bob, thanks - do you think a stainless heat shield could be mocked up to cover the exhaust -

      will keep polishing Steve

It's a good idea to paint the inside of the bumpers with hammerite, that helps preserve them.
