Gas fitting - not Stag related

Any portable gas fittings experts out there?

I have a 3 way camping fridge, that I want tomodify the gas supply fitting. Currently the hose connector pokes out the back and is vulnerable, and I can't quite fit it into a space in the trailer, so I'm looking for a right angled fitting. Not sure on fitting size but about 10mm.

    Any ideas?

    Paul

Scrapyard - if right-angled would look very similar to an inlet manifold fitting for a crossflow Ford engine.....

    Just a thought

        Hi Paul

Try your local plumbers merchant, you should be able to get a 90 deg fitting and then another female straight fitting to screw your fitting back into, dont forget to use some boss white or similar gas paste on the thread and test afterwards.

        Good luck

Thanks for the ideas guys, I did try the usual outlets without success but I didn't think of a marine stores, and Steve that item looks exactly what I'm after. There is a big marina nearby so will try them first and let you know - thanks

Hi Steve, I think the first was fine and possibly shallower, but maybe extending the fitting with an elbow not a bad idea so I can add a support bracket. I guess the supplier fitted a straight connector to ensure fitting the hose pushed straight on thefridge casing. The connection doesn't get used that much so as long as I'm careful - will need it camping national weekend tho as no power.

                Cheers
