Refitting Door Panel Clips

Some of my door panel clips have seen better days so I ordered some new clips for the doors and the panels from LD Parts ( Really good service from this company ).

Had a quick look last night and it was not obvious how to attach these to an existing door panel. Must I remove the door panel and then add the clips or can it be done in situ?

The clip push into the holes and grip the panel. Some may not be easy to fit so best to remove the panel. When fitting the panel back you will have to lie underneath and set each clip to line up with the plastic door inserts.

Have you replaced or at least checked the plastic inserts? If these are worn the clips will not hold the panel.

I ordered new inserts for the door and the clips for the panel so have both.
