Joking apart Paul, the running costs are very small indeed and the committee thought it was about time the members had a proper card instead of the old 'Bull 'Print date stamped ones we have had for many years.
They are all printed in house by our membership secretary.
While we are on the subject I'm hoping the SOC will soon move with the times and issue the paper thin ones that one now gets from NT, CTC and RSPB etc.

I've seen somevery petty moaning on this forum lately, but I have to say that takes thebloody biscuit - if moving with the times is important to you,why the hell do you own a Stag ? ? ?instead of complaining, do something positive and volunteer to take some of the load off thecommittee members! :? Martin.

But I do think Martins reply is rude to say the least:shock:
Personally I think the new card is a huge improvement on the old card one. It projects a better image of the club and apart from that have you ever tried scraping the ice off the windscreen with the old card one! - Alan
