Hi All

Whilst we are looking at Stags to see if there still around, has anyone seen my old MK1 around the North of London?

A guy called Terry bought it in 2005 from me and it is not currently taxed according to the DVLA even though it is tax exempt!

Reg number KMK 352K Sapphire Blue MOD with original painted wires, federal seatsand a boot rack.

I was there but can't see my car,herald 13/60 conv. . . . i seem to remember it was being sprayed at the time. Really enjoyed the shows then but these days I don't have the enthusiasm I once had. . . And the food is still as s**t as it always was.I find myself being very selective about which shows i go to now. . . pity really,i still have too many triumphs and still go to my local area meets so its not all gone I"m still passionate about 'our' cars. Can't wait to get my old 2000 saloon on the road with a 302cu ford vee 8 yee ha.

I bought KMK352K from a trader just outside Epping, Essex, for £8250 in 2006 and kept it in a garage in a block of flats in Wanstead. It had been well resprayed in the correct blue, the woodwork had been revarnished, and there was a new soft top (but no hardtop); it still had the wire wheels and looked splendid. Unfortunately the garage was broken into and a few weeks after that between 7th February and 8th March 2008, it was stolen and never heard of again. It was thought it may have ended up abroad but I'd ask everyone to keep looking!
