Great report and really good to finally meet you at National Day.

I hope you will organise another day next year so I can come down this time.

We got the info pack about next years ND thanks and Lois the kids and I will be down for the whole weekend this time so see you there, if you need me to do soem stuff at the ND just ask?

I have just come back from a few days away and have a response to the meeting Alan and I attended. It is addressed to me but I will let the sender know that I plan to publish it on here.

If I can take one point of frustration from the response, it is the fact that there is no acceptance of the issue flagged about items being submitted and not acknowledged.

In the reply it does mention that the magazine size is linked to multiples of 16 pages and because of that some aticles are cut. Why not respond to the sender and let them know when it will be published. Instead, the response talks about needing more articles and content.

My "July" magazine arrived this morning, with an application to join last weekends National Meeting.

No sign of mine yet - funny thing is I've just had 3 lots of Stag spares delivered from the U.K. and all 3 arrived within a matter of days of posting - Wash/wipe pump from LDSpares, new grill badge from Robsport, and new door speakers from a firm advertising them on Ebay. No problems with parcels - perhaps if the mag was posted "Parcel Post" I'd get it quicker!

Hi Paul, bit of a Fred Carnos job, I bought a gorilla grip tripod thingy off e.bay that would have been ideal, it would hold the weight of a new type camcorder, the small ones. But I took an 8mm one with me and it was too heavy so had to make a quick fix and tape it on, still it worked.

Graham, I have ticked the box on the E.mail fora receipt of the posting that it was opened so that I know it arrived, but havenever had it acknowledged for a mag entry.

Thanks Bob, I have a small tripod, will see if I can attach with sticky tape. Neverthought of putting a camcorder up there.
