What do you call those grippy washer things

You know what I mean they are like a washer with angled 'teeth' that point inwards. You push it over a shaft with the teeth angled outwards and the teeth dig into the shaft andprevent the'washer' coming off.

So, for the engineers out there, what are they called I need to buy some and don't know what to google.

    Hi Alan,

I am no engineer, but I believe they are called starlock washers.

Not star washers, but "shaft retention washers"

Thanks Al, Googling 'Starlock' seems to bring up what I need, I just need to find somewhere that sells them in quantities of less than 200.!
