It won!!! MkII and 30th Aniversary Stag!!!!



Just want to say a huge thankyou to everyoneon the forum who helped solve so many of the problems I had while putting it back together.

It took twelve years, but got there with 2 days to spare. It was great to do so well, particularly with so many lovely Stags. Nearly broke into tears.

Can't think how it could have been better, show was really well organised, great weather, brilliant venue, beautiful Stags, met loads of great people and I got a ride in a hot air balloon.

Probably the best weekend sincewe got married, so heres a picture of the two women in my life....

Not sure what to do next. It will be very difficult to top the Stag.

First I'll get the Dolomite Sprint back onto the road. When I moved it out of the garage last week to get the Stag out, it was hard to start and ran like a dog, wouldn't idle and backfiring. Probably sulking due to all the time I've spent with the Stag.

Might stick to the Triumph theme and do a Java Green Spitfire for Polly (wife), or maybe a Cobra replica with Stonking V8.
