    Extra fuses

With ever increasing electrical fittings I've run out of cables to piggy back off and its looking messy so looking at an additional 2 fuseboxes, one permanent feed, the other ignition switched via a relay. I've freed off space on the relay board and have a couple of fuse boxes. Each fuse box has 4 fuses but the connections are individual, ideally I'd like a single feed into the the fuse box so that each of the fusesare connected, I don't want tomakejumpers to each fuse.

Has anyone done this and can recommend a fuse box?

    Hello Paul.

Good to meet you the other day.

Have a look at this: http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product_list/63

See continental fuse box and connector links.

Hi John, and yourself, hope you're car was fileld with Stag spares instead of ND literature on way home!

Had a look at the website, all the fuse boxes are like mine, ie each fuse is individually connected (ie one in one out). what I'm looking for is either a common input to all the fuses or some means of bridging all the inputs together like the connector bridge shown fitted to a continental type, only problem is its screw terminal, I'd prefer spade connectors!

I did consider just soldering a link wire to each of the inputs but then it gets messy making sure its properly insulated - could just see my Mrs shoes shorting out the electrics!

This is what you want....in fact I think I will buy one myself!

Two separate banks of 6, wire one bank up permament, the second ignition only. I would wire the ignition side through a relay, keeping no additional load through the stag original loom.

I'm currently in the process of making a new relay board with 12 slot blade fuse box, to replace the glass type fuse box which is constantly giving me connection problems

Will post some pics when I get chance

            Thats on my list too!

Something like this mounted on an adapter plate would do the trick:

Edit: been done before, on a Landy:

That looks the best, thanks, although its screw connection its self contained and covers live/switched. I have a live feed off the battery originally used for the CD amp (:shock but now used for towing so I can pinch that.

                Thanks for all responses.

Yes they are screwed but they look the type that accept ring or open spade type terminals.
