Sticking Fuel Pump

Guys,

Looking for your expertise again, sometimes my stag won't start, and i find the fuel filter empty, and the fuel pump at the tank makes a clicking noise. Give it a bang (yes technical i know), and the clicking stops, the fuel flows though the filter, and it fires up.

Im guessing a new fuel pump is the answer?, any views?

Hi

Some guys on here have repaired the pump with new pionts etc from Burlen Fuel Systems with some success.

Or you could buy a new pump from Burlen etc then all sorted.

I would say new pump, go for a electronic type. E J Wards have them

When it stops clicking is usually a sign of the pump not working..
