Vyback Rear Windows

The Vyback rear window on convertible tops sometimes becomes badly creased due to incorrect stowage of the soft top assembly. We have found that these creases in most cases can be removed satisfactorily by simply filling a plastic bottle with hot water and rolling it across the creased area and at the same time supporting the opposite side of the window.

Though it might be worth a try

Sunshine works just as well, although a bottle of hot water is probably easier to come by at the moment!

I also make a point of warming mine if at all possible before stowing the hood, either by leaving it in the sun for a few minutes or even using a hairdryer on a lowish setting - the window flexes better and is less likely to crease.

Hair dryers will work but the hot water bottle trick is a safer bet.

Yeah, it takes me ages to cultivate that "freshly dragged through a hedge backwards" look! And sadly the handbag is full of nappies for my two-year-old daughter these days. Still, at least she enjoys the Stag with the top down, it's not all bad, and then we both look a mess :?
