Battery Recomendations Please.

Ok, now we have come to the inevitable time of needing a new battery. However we have found before that same ampage batteries that are correct for the stag can have many differences.

For instance some are too short/tall to be held in place properly, and some have the terminals slightly lower which then means the clamp won't go on without shorting the terminals.

Basically what i would like to know is what batterys are available new, and for how much that fit the stag properly?

it also needs to be good at living outside in the changing temperatures.

be a decent quality.

average price.

Recommendations please from all you friendly stag owners, like myself ofcoarse.........

HI Ashstag ,have been pleased with type 072 battery purchased last year which fitted well ,make ofYuasa? supplied to all newAlfa romeos' apparertly,always has plenty of cranking power & 5 yr guarantee.

hi ashstag ,i also have the yuasa 072 fits well and gives healthy cranking ,it can stand sitting , if car unused pretty well aswell

Expensive, but Halfords do a 4 year guarantee battery!

Ok, thanks for your help guys and it's sorted now.

And Dave i completely forgot about Pete! He's the one that sorted now so cheers.

And for future reference it's a flamm battery of some sort or another.
