We've just returned from am excellent week driving the Stag round the Isle of Man. As well as being very cultural it does of course boasts a lengthy TT course much of which does not have a speed limit!
We splitthe oil line to the pressure gaugeon the first night there(although we couldn't see that in the dark .. just litres of oil behind the dash) and although I know it has been reported before, the recovery that is offered by RJ Classics Insurance was excellent. Even though we were in the middle of nowhere and technically outside GB,we were on a recovery wagon within an hour and delivered to our B&B. The driver even did a tour of local garages on the way back so we would have a list of telephone numbers for the morning.
Anyway fixed in half a day by the local vicar who is also a rally driver and garage owner (seriously) and back on the road to whizz round a beautiful island in true Stag style. Apparently there's a classic event on the island every summer so that is something we may look out for in 2008.
Lovely location...really nice people and a great place to drive
