horse power

hi chaps, can anyone tell me what horse power a normal 3L V8 stag engine has? someone asked me, and i never had a clue, and said that i would ask.

According to my books, 127 in the US, 145 everywhere else.

thanx, its just that i teach at cambridge, and i showed the students my stag and after all the wowing one said whats the horse power? and i stood there and said emmemmm:?now i can answer them, thanx

Don't expect them to be impressed, most of their 'hot hatches' will deliver more than theStag.

If you want to impress them more you could start with -

"I believe its around 350 at the flywheel"

Regardless of the power the Stag sounds better than any hot hatch

Marty, I often take the stag pass mitchams corner along the river then along "The Backs" get some petrol in the shell garage and then head home via mill road. I love this little run on a sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
