looks very nice in the photos, possibly shows that if you need to sell at the moment that is all you can get?

Yes, spotted that one. Looks really smart.Wouldn't mind going to see it as it is only 35 miles away. Perhaps I'd better not :?

The only thing I would say Stu is that its a waste of time bidding untill the last few minutes,my thinking on why no one has bid yet.At a guess I reckon theres a few people out there hoping they might get this car at under eight grand, playing it cagey.

I had a stagin the mid eightiesregistered in May 1973 although the tax exemption class wasnt running then I still had the chassis number writ down and out of curosity I checked if it would have qualified for tax exemption,it was built well into 73,so I reckon this car must be one of the last tax exempt examples being registered in April 73.

Ijust looked at that also and thought it was cheap as well - but then when you consider i paid less than 2k for my car i suppose it is about right in the current market.

That does look nice, even clean under the bonnet. 6 days left to run on the auction so my guess is it will go up a bit in price. Like the colour and tax exempt thats a bonus. Good job its not nearer to me.

As enthusiasts, I sometimes think we have an over-inflated view of the value of our cars. Personally I think this one looks pretty good in the photos, but i'v seen plenty of shoddy cars look great in pictures .

I actually think the starting price is pretty high :?

Yikes, the work I am having done on my Stag is going to cost more than that!

not wishing to tell anyone about sucking eggs i have had stags on and off for 20 years and the amount that look fab in photos which are shall, we say dissapointing in the metal is numerous.

everything has a price if your house dont sell in 6 months its to dear. market values will always win through.

on the stag front i think too many survive to make them really go up in values, but that is the reason parts are so cheap for them because of the numbers surviving.

wish i had not sold ol' yella though.
