Hi Guys, sadly not having a spare £175 to spend on the proper jobs and if i did there is more needy parts that require any spare cash I decided to have ago at making one with parts kicking around the house and shed. The crossbar is a piece of wood drilled either end with 2 long bolts with large washers under the heads, the bottom end of the bolts are drilled to take a small piece of rod aradited in to act as lock tab. The wind break is a retractable mesh sunblind ( available on ebay or from rear parcel shelves of some older Citroen models ). The cabin cover is an old estate rear load area cover glued to the crossbeam.
The mesh is pulled up nd held by 2 tabs riveted to cable ties around T bar, (will modify to velcro straps when I find the right size ). All done in less than 3 hours and tested last night and it works.
Martin.
