Hi All,
After my disappointing result at the power challenge the other Saturday, I was able to persuade a certain Stag Guru to give my car a tune up in exchange for some tree works:dude:
Well, the tuning was carried out this arvo, and whilst doing this it came to light that my vacuum advance was not working, due to the peg not being in the hole:shock:
mmmm... no wonder some horses had escaped...:shock::shock:
after a lot of fiddling and fettling to get it engaged and also to get theelectronic timing module to slide on the base plate properly, it now works.
OMG what a difference this has made

I had to come back round the M25 to Woking and at 70 ish mph, I put my foot down and it takes off:dude:. I thought it went well before, but my grin has just got bigger if that was possible

Big thanks to certain Stag Guru:dude::dude::dude::dude::dude::dude::dude:
Al (very happy chappy)
